This research was conducted in relation to the demands of 21st century, namely ability solve every problem encountered, with measurement scientific literacy skills content aspects can overcome problems everyday life for students. The aims determine student on Basidiomycota topic. at Biology Department, FMIPA, Medan State University. population this study were all 122 students Study Program class 2021 sample is 31 people using purposive sampling technique. design quantitative descriptive. results abilities topic are conceptual science category an average percentage 78.02%. indicate that still stage understanding conceptually or general and does not yet have a specific understanding. These be improved by looking accurate references journals books order better understand so their reach multidimensional literacy.Abstrak Penelitian ini dilakukan berkaitan dengan tuntutan abad 21 yaitu kemampuan untuk menyelesaikan setiap permasalahan yang dihadapi, adanya pengukuran literasi sains pada aspek konten dapat mengatasi dalam kehidupan sehari-hari bagi mahasiswa. bertujuan mengetahui mahasiswa topik Basidiomycota. dilaksanakan di Jurusan Biologi FMIPA Universitas Negeri Medan. Populasi penelitian adalah seluruh Studi angkatan berjumlah orang. Sampel orang menggunakan teknik sampling. Desain deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil kategori konseptual persentase rata-rata 78,02%. tersebut menunjukkan masih tahap mengerti secara konsep atau umum dan belum memiliki pemahaman spesifik. ditingkatkan mencari referensi jurnal buku akurat agar semakin memahami sehingga sainsnya mencapai multidimensi.
